What are TCGs?

Trading Card Games (TCGs) are card games in which you can create your own deck and battle it out against opponents or friends. 

TCGs foster creativity with deckbuilding and community between players. A few examples of TCGs include the Pokémon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Magic: The Gathering (MtG).

At Guild, we have a thriving MtG community, consisting of friendly and considerate players. There are often multiple MtG players at every General Session, and many are happy to lend a deck for someone who wishes to join. So, if you ever want to try out MtG at Guild, pop a message on one of the Guild groups, or join for a session and let us show you the ropes.

Another TCG often played at Guild, is Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (VTES). VTES was introduced at Guild in 2024, and it took our TCG community by storm. If you are interested in learning this TCG, ask around or keep an eye out for any VTES events, as they are a great way to learn how to play the game.
